United is the Way We Feed One Another
Throughout Shawano and Menominee Counties, a number of our residents live in Food Deserts, or an area with greater than 20% of its residents living in poverty and lacking access to nearby, quality, fresh produce. In 2025, we formed the Shawano-Menominee Food Coalition and began organizing to address some of the needs created by this reality.
