To be eligible for an event and to receive a device, you must:

  • Not own a personal computer or laptop.
  • Not have already received a device through the Techquity Wisconsin or a similar program.
  • Belong to one of these population groups:
    • A household with an income at or below 200% FPL
    • An underserved household (lacking internet service)
    • An under-connected household (limited access due to constraining factors like cost or provider options)
    • An ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) household
    • Have a critical need for digital access that was exacerbated by the COVID-19 public health emergency, related to work/education/health.

This project is being supported, in whole or in part, by federal award number CPFFN0201 awarded to United Way of Wisconsin through $16,459,684.90 of funds from the U.S. Department of the Treasury through the American Rescue Plan Act and the State of Wisconsin, acting by and through the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin.
